Chili Honey Vinaigrette
Makes ½ cup
Ingredients:
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- Juice of ½ lime
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- ¼ cup grapeseed oil (or other unflavored oil)
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to the mortar.
- Press the splash guard onto the mortar and grind until the mixture reaches your desired consistency.
Baked Chili Honey Feta
Serves 2 as an appetizer or side dish
Ingredients:
- 8 oz block of feta cheese
- 2 tbsp premade chili honey vinaigrette
- 1 ½ cup cooked farro
- ¼ cup arugula
- Optional: sliced radishes
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Place the feta on a small baking sheet or in a casserole dish. Pour the chili honey vinaigrette over the top, coating the cheese evenly.
- Roast for 15 minutes, until warm and slightly golden.
- In a shallow bowl, toss the farro, arugula, and radishes. Place the baked feta on top and serve. Enjoy!
